Ms Leah is a native North Carolinian, raised in Raleigh. She grew up singing and dancing her way through school and earned a BFA in Theatre Arts with a musical theatre concentration at NYU Tisch in 2003. For ten years Ms Leah performed in regional theaters around the country and in one Off-Broadway production in NYC. It was in the city where she met her opera singing, boat driving husband! Together they traveled down the east coast where they landed in West Palm Beach to welcome their daughter, Haddison. Ms Leah has been teaching dance, choreographing for children's theater, and leading Music Together® families in music and movement since 2022. She loves to see bonds form between all her students, both grown-up and child. She thinks there's no better way to connect with each other than through the love of music and she is thrilled to bring the magic of these classes to the families of the Triad!

Laura is originally from Florida but has lived in Greensboro for over 5 years. Other stops on her journey of life have been New York and Oregon.

She's been teaching in many capacities for 20 years, and as a music instructor for about two of those years (as of 2025). 

She loves to sing dance, write poetry and cycle, and looks forward to meeting everyone!

Ms Kirstyn (also known as Kertie) grew up in Greensboro, NC. She’s a mom to a 2 yr old daughter and 3 rescue dogs. Ms Kertie studied at Appalachian State University for her undergraduate degree then went to University of Pittsburgh to get her Master of Occupational Therapy degree. She has practiced OT in a number of settings with specializations previously in stroke and brain injury rehab. She currently practices in the school based setting here in Greensboro, NC. Ms Kertie grew up taking piano lessons and singing in city and community choruses and in the church choir. Her family surrounded her with a musical foundation with harmonies, instruments and singing songs throughout her childhood. Ms Kertie found Music Together® by taking her daughter, Rosie, to mixed age classes and has loved the classes and time spent making music with her daughter, and she loves the foundation of PLAY and childhood development in the Music Together® curriculum. Ms Kertie offers a unique perspective to the Music Together class with ability to provide adapted ways for children of varied intellectual, developmental and neurological abilities and their grown ups to participate.
